Creation Story Themed Baptism Party Ideas

March is a special month for our family. It is the month both of our sweet daughters were baptized. It is a month where we honor God and teach them what it means to be a Christ-follower. We intentionally chose to honor both of their baptisms in the month of March and each year I …

Purpose in Pregnancy Loss

Experiencing a pregnancy loss, losing my first child, was the most devastating thing I have gone through in my entire life. This is something I pray no mom will ever have to experience. However, with the current statistic being 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in a loss, I know others will, unfortunately. I share my …

Passionate about Education

When I started college, I didn’t originally set out to be an educator. Psychology was actually my desired profession as I exited high school. However, as I started my journey at the University of Florida, my heart longed to attend the College of Education and to become a teacher. I am so thankful I made …

  • New baby update!

Ava insisted on being the one to reveal our new baby’s gender to us. So we allowed her to come up with her own idea and let her plan it out. She had a blast! She filled a balloon with confetti and we let Celia pop the balloon for us. Of course, it was PINK! Celia is super excited because she said she only wants sisters. McKenna was just excited to throw confetti everywhere 😆 #girlfamily #daddyiswayoutnumberednow

  • Reminded of this as I continue to work toward a more minimal home. The things we own are all good. They served a purpose at one point in our life but now it’s just too much. Im not using everything during this season of life and I may or may not use it in the future. Now, it’s got to go so we can create new memories as a family. I will never be a minimalist but working toward a clutter-free home where things are purposeful and meaningful is the overall goal.
